The speed at which Dhoni married his childhood friend Sakshi Rawat was faster than the cricket ball which travels out of the stadium when he hit. He wore a blue ’sherwani’ which was designed by Narendra Kumar. His bride was wearing brocade lehenga designed by Sabyasachi. Do you know what he is going to wear for his reception, hear it from the designer “Dhoni’s reception outfit is a black silk wool suit with narrow lapels, made keeping in mind that he wanted a sober ensemble. The fabric has a bit of shine and the trousers are slim fitted.” No one know when is his reception as he is on-duty for next 30days in Srilanka.

Congratulations!!! Thousands of newly engaged girls will be hunting for the perfect dress for their wedding day, let us help you get a jump on finding the right dress and stay within your budget. “Just around the corner in every woman’s mind – is a lovely dress, a wonderful suit, or entire costume which will make an enchanting new creature of her.” – Wilhela Cushman. It is the dream of a girl to transform herself from the girl next door to a woman on the day of her wedding.

Statistic shows that the wedding dress or bridal gown can consume a large part of the overall wedding budget if you do not shop wisely. Realistically the bride’s attire – including shoes and accessories should be no more that 10% of the overall wedding costs. The budget conscious bride can easily stay on track if she knows where and how to shop online.
In addition to cost, the smart bride needs to consider which dress best suits your body type, as well as the venue for the wedding. Lucky for you, shopping for your wedding dress online is easy and will help finalize your decision.
The choice of the dress will vary according to the destination. Strapless gowns with low cut backs are a rage these days. Flowers can add magic to a bridal dress.

But if the décor is a flowery one then it is no use for the bride to carry a heavy flower bouquet. Even a cute little orchid tucked behind her ears could make her a show-stealer. A light wrap may be a necessity to gently cover the skin from the sea breezes when the ceremony is taking place at a beach. A short train would be a more practical idea instead of a traditional long train which can become unmanageable during a ceremony out of doors such as at a beach. Stylish accessories that blend with the natural beauty and traditions of the locale add a touch of glamour to the bridal dress. Crystal brooches, ornamental bands, pearls can make the bride look simply gorgeous.

Once you have chosen your wedding dress, adding the right bridal accessories and your own personal touch, you will create a gown that is uniquely yours.

Many Brides love the idea of trying on beautiful wedding dresses in an exquisite salon, and this is where you should start. Try on a variety of bridal gowns in different fabrics and styles. Make a note of which styles look best, which dress designers are your favorite, and, most important, make a note of your size and what alterations need to be done. With this information you are ready to shop online and find the dress of your dreams at a price you can afford.

INTRODUCTION
Christian wedding like most of the weddings of the world have their root in its religion. In fact it is regarded as a form of worship. Christians believe that the God has intended marriage to be an instrument to bring about the welfare and happiness of mankind. Christian life is living out one’s baptism. A Christian disciple after being baptized dies and rises with Christ. Marriage is thought to be a part of living out one’s baptism for many Christians. A Christian wedding usually takes place in a Church, before a priest.

COSTUMES
Bridal Wear White gown is the most common dress worn by Christian brides worldwide. It came into being because people thought that it represented purity, affluence and virginity. She also wears a veil of net and carries a bouquet of flowers in her arm. In the Indian subcontinent, white saree is worn at many places.

Groom’s Attire The Christian groom is mostly seen in the suit with a bow. The preferred color for the suit is black

wedding

RITUALS
Rituals before Marriage: Christian marriages can begin either with wedding directly or with the engagement or betrothal. The betrothal ordinances are brief. They comprise of making the sign of the cross three times on both the engaged couples and the exchange of rings. The engagement ring is a promise for marriage. The priest then blesses the engaged couples in the name of the father and of the son and of the Holy Spirit.

Marriage Rituals: Christian Weddings are simple yet elegant. The bride walks towards the altar arm in arm with either her father. The tradition of the father walking his daughter down the aisle reflects the old belief that she was his property to “give away” to the groom. While the bridesmaid comes lifting her trail behind. Actual marriage rituals commence with the groom and his bride coming to the altar. As they come forward the priest start talking about the ‘blushing’ couple ready to get united with each other for life. As this proceeding goes on, hymns are begun to be sung by the choir. Then there follows the readings from the Bible. The bride and the groom declare the wedding vows after this. The priest would then bless the rings and give them to the eager couple. The bride and the groom exchange the rings. Subsequently, the priest declares them to be man and wife. The holy process ends with the sealing of their vows as the priest asking the groom to kiss his bride.

The ceremony comes to an end with the final blessing of the priest. The guests, towards the end, shower their blessings on the newly wedded couple. The last formality is the couple then signs the register and walk down aisle, arm in arm.

Wedding Cake: The Christians’ wedding cake is one big affair which originated primarily with lots of little wheat cakes. These little cakes were broken over the bride’s head to bring good luck and fertility. The present guests then eat a crumb to make it ensure good luck. The vogue of three tier wedding cake started off after the bizarre shape of the spire of Saint Bride’s Church in London. The cutting of the cake together implies that the “just married couple” would share their life together. Tradition has it that the top layer represents them as a couple, while the bottom layer represents the couple as a family. The layers in betweens represent the number of children the couple would have.

Cuisine: The wedding cuisine for the Christian wedding includes dishes that are popular in that region. Vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes abound. Christians believe in giving a toast to the newly married couple. Typical Christian dishes like cakes, puddings, custards and other frozen desserts are found among the sweet dishes.

We know wedding is an occasion where we can’t restrict our hands from spending money. It needs a huge investment to satisfy our dreams. But still we can’t convince ourselves on few things in respect of wedding.

Tips for planning an economical wedding

To start with, the wedding coordinators had to sit down and prioritize the necessities. Then outline a rough estimation for the elements listed provided the place of purchase holds well in quality and price. Ensure that the major needs are cleared.

First and the most important tip is that set your budget with money that you already have in your bank account. No one, under any circumstance, should go into debt for a wedding.Best case scenario, spend less than you have budgeted. So plan a wedding that satisfies you and your spouse within your limits.

One of the best way to plan for an economic Wedding is to fix your ceremony in a banquet halls or hotels. Usually banquet halls or hotels are cheaper for celebrations on Fridays and Sundays than on Saturdays, and for occasions that are in the off seasons such as April or October rather than May, June or September. So try to fix your wedding party in a low cost location.

Do not forget to workout the wedding invitations.Instead of spending a large amount for wedding cards go for online wedding invitation. Its cheaper , time saving , easy to create your personalized invitation and a new way to invite your near and dear ones.

The secret of making the weddings still more attractive is maintaining the color code i.e., if the bride and groom are getting dressed up in dark colors then the stage and the hall can be decorated in white or any other light colors. In such a case, a minimal of decoration helps the hall look enriched. Spend your money on decorating the places or things people will see the most throughout the event — not on what they’ll only glimpse momentarily.Try to use flowers that are locally grown and in season — you’ll save a lot of money if they don’t have to be flown in from the tropics.

Don’t be afraid to let you family and friends know that you’re planning for an economical wedding. They may offer their own skills to help you save money, or they may help you find a great deal.

Food is one great thing where we waste money. It’s always better to plan for a buffet rather than a meal served to the seat. Nearly a huge amount of money can be saved by this. It is also necessary to concentrate on the selection of dishes. Adding stalls for chats, salads and affordable sweets may reduce the consumption of food and more over increases the varieties of food. When planning a dinner for 200 people an order for 150 people would be sufficient.

The last but the important one is to invite minimal guest. Just shortlist your guest list by inviting those who are very near and dear to you and avoid inviting people whom you have not seen just for the sake that they are related to you.The simple truth is that there is no quicker, easier way to control your budget than by limiting the size of the event. Again, your single biggest cost will be reception food , so you can reduce that expenditure by paring down the number of mouths.

Wedding is not the time to hassle down. It’s an occasion to celebrate so plan your wedding and make it memorable. But remember that your marriage is what is most important, not your wedding day.

Wedding invitation is the first glimpse your guests will get of your wedding. Invitation is the perfect opportunity to set the style and tone for your big event. So go for an online wedding invitation where you can customize your own wedding invitation according to your creativity.

Wedding messages in the invitation adds equal attention as that of the outer design. Usually a good script font works best for headings, and a more traditional font for the body copy. Color can make a big impact on an invitation. Wording for wedding invitation, wedding quotes & poems can be browsed from the internet.

In addition to the wedding message the necessary elements are the bride/groom details with their qualification, details of their parents, ceremony details, transportation details, few of the close ones names etc.

Few points to be remembered while wording the invitation

Most important is that the name should be full names.

Avoid the usage of abbreviations for the dates or designation. It’s must to add Mr., Ms, and Mrs. in front of the names.

Proper spelling is a must, punctuation is not.

Few sample wedding invitation wordings:

You are a part of our lives
please be a part of our celebration of
life and our commitment

Your wedding should be the happiest day of your life but getting it right can be pretty stressful. Ideally the preparations for the big day should be every bit as enjoyable but this isn’t always the case, especially when it comes to who to invite and how.

Your wedding invitations don’t have to break your bank account, but they do serve a purpose. Be sure to do some comparison shopping. Consider your options then weigh the advantages and disadvantages of each option along with the cost. Following are methods for reducing the cost of your wedding invitations:

Be informed. Peruse bridal magazines, ask friends for advice and view examples of them online to get a feel for the style.

Determine the tone. Will your wedding be formal, semi-formal or casual? Your wedding invitations should mirror the tone of your wedding.

Set the budget. After deciding how much money will be allocated towards the entire wedding, back into your budget for the them. This will help you determine which type of invitation to select.

Buy it in bulk. Buy your invitations at a bulk party store or a wedding warehouse to get the best buy for your money. This is particularly beneficial for those sending 50 or more invitations.

Make it homemade. Create homemade invitations comprised of tissue paper over decorated colored paper, photos of the happy couple with poems, verse or prose, or add artful calligraphy accents. If you have a personal computer and a printer, you may be able to print your own wedding invitations.

Go online. Develop a wedding website with the completed detail about the bride and the groom, wedding ceremony details, RSVPs, and so on. There are many website which helps you to create your own wedding website. Go for the one which has enriched features and suits to your style. Also get advice from folks who have already opted for it. My advice is to go for Invity.com, a free wedding website where you can create your wedding website. You will be surprised if you know about all the features of invity.com. So just visit the site www.invity.com and enjoy creating feature enriched wedding website.

Whether you are planning a small or a large wedding, sending out them is a necessity. Ultimately, it is important to choose wedding invitations that best suit your needs.

Seating arrangements are very important for a wedding!

Many weddings in have a poor wedding arrangement. When i attended my friends marriage i was shocked to see that most of the people where standing instead of taking a seat. The problem was that the arrangement was not proper and they didn’t get a seat or they were positioned away from the visibility of the couple. After seeing such a problem I thought to write this post to share my views on how a wedding seating arrangement should be!

Your wedding reception is the ultimate party. It’s a celebration of love and commitment, shared with those who love you most.No one wants to end up sitting alone, shut out of the conversations around them. If your guests are at ease, the party will thrive. So you want make your guest happy and have a great time.

First and foremost thing you should draw a chart for your marriage hall, your guest list, the type of chair and table that you will be using and then plan
your seating arrangement. Here is the list of points that you should concentrate

1. Put the chair all around the stage expect the 4th side (i,e behind the couple ). Make sure the couple are visible to all the people.
2. Leave considerable amount of space while partitioning the sides.
3. Stage should be 4x higher than the floor.
4. Decoration elements should not hide the couple.
5. Leave a space for the photographers, as they play the major role in hiding the couple
6. If hall have pillars avoid putting chairs behind them.

These are 6 major issues you should keep in mind while doing seating arrangement!

The most important thing is that be prepared for changes to your plan until two weeks before the wedding, as your guest list will most certainly change.

A good atmosphere round the wedding hall makes for a successful wedding… so try your best seating order to make everyone happy and avoid fireworks on your big day.

Hay I am Santosh and to introduce about myself, I am a person eagerly awaiting for my big day and preparing for it to. Preparation for my big day ended up in writing this piece of work.

My papa and mama had ordered a traditional wedding card. But i moved to select a separate card for my friends and colleagues.

With the fast paced lives that we lead, our personal lives are intertwined with our virtual life. So i thought of going online for my wedding invitation where i can apply my creativity into it rather than just sending a formal invitation. What i had in my mind was that the wedding invitation should not only act as my invitation but also help me to preserve the memories of my big day lifelong. Moreover during the wedding bride, groom and their families are tackling the next to impossible task of organizing a wedding. While all the running around happens those moments are what makes a memorable and should be recorded and to assist you in doing so

I received an invitation mail from my friend regarding invity.com (wedding website).

Invity.com is the beginning of creation of digital services built around proven business model of online matrimonial classified listing. The main feature that attracts visitor to the site is its free services that provides facility for couples to create online wedding site where they give handy tools which can be used to save the memories and share tasks.

The site is easy to use. It has some really neat features that the to wed couple can engage in. The layout of the site is simple and anyone can easily navigate here. There is some very mushy music you could add to your site, upload your photos to share in website design format with people/friends, include the details about various ceremony, and share your stories, RSVPs and so on. There is space where you can receive umpteen blessing messages from my family, friends and colleagues and treasure those the blessing so you need not be nostalgic after few years of your wedding life. What I wonder about is how they are monetizing the site, because the use of this product is completely free.

The lists go on but why open the Pandora box so soon. Self experience really tastes good.

I registered myself with invity.com and created my own wedding website in few minutes.

Just like sharing knowledge, share your experience about invity.com with everyone especially the one who are going to get married so that everyone can enjoy their big day and treasure the moments till the end of their days.
